Is It Selfish To Not Have Children?
Below are reasons why people have children. There are no objective reasons
 .
By bringing a child into this world, there is an excellent chance that
they will be subject to a lot of unpleasant experiences. Even if life
is perfect or a gift, it still wouldn't matter if they were never born
to know about it. Would you miss life if you were never born? If you say
yes, you need some more medication .
7 Billion and counting... Life is Pointless. The universe will be just
the way it was before humans came along. Not wanting to have kids is SELFISH?
Think again. In my "opinion", non-thinkers and people with low
conscience are popping out kids. Hold up! I'm not a hater of people with
kids. I know, many of you are just wanting to find any reason to hate
me because I'm not telling you what you want to hear .
Don't hate me man. I didn't not create myself. If you want to get your
hate on, hate the creator .
I'm not our creator so I can't judge anyone. It is nature's thing to create
us and everything else. I'm just one of the 7 billion people running around
this planet looking for a nut until I kick the bucket.

- You want someone to take care of you when you are old
- You don't want to grow old alone and lonely
- You think by having a child with your partner that they will
not leave you
- You think you and your partner will have a tighter bond by
having a child together
- Your partner is wealthy and you think you can get them for
at least 18 years of child support or other monies
- You always wanted to have a baby because they are just so
darn cute
- You want to have kids so you can give them what you never
had when you were a child (WOW! This is how dumb humans have
become.)
- You want to have a baby so you can relive your childhood through
them
- You are pressured by your parents to have kids because they
want grand kids to play with (this is the least selfish one)
- You think by having a child with your partner that they will
change their ways we you two can get along better (stop gambling,
stop smoking, they will settle down, etc.)
- You are good looking or smart and you want to see if your
kids will turn out to be just like you
- You think you are so important to society that you need to
carry on your bloodline
- You want a tax break
- You think society will look at you as a weirdo if you are
childless or child-free
- You think by having a child brings you joy (having a child
does not automatically make you happy. Some people get rather
depressed by having children.)
- You got pregnant on accident and decided to keep it (you
might want to read this)
- You don't want a child but your partner does. In order to
stay with your partner, you end up having a child with them
- You think by having kids will make it feel more like a complete
family
- You are religious and you think that is what god wants you
to do because if you go against god, you won't go to heaven.
(I often wonder why god give man that ability to prevent birth.
Isn't that counterproductive?)
- You think you are so intelligent and will be such a great
parent that you can raise a child to change the world (lets
look at the odds of your kid changing the world .
Throughout the history of the human race, there have been billions
of humans who have walked the earth. So far no one has been
able to alter the human genome to erase "greed" from
our gene. There have been a few super bright humans in history
but they have only been able to solve math or other small problems.
The person who can change human behavior for the better will
be the one to actually change the world. The guy that invented
alternate current (Nikola Tesla) actually made things worst
(so far). He made it too easy for people to waste energy. Which
in turn will bring the end to our species much quicker if we
don't come up with a solution to our energy needs soon. But
then again, would it matter how wonderful life is if you never
knew about it?)

- Last but not least, Because You CAN!

There are so many people calling themselves or others selfish for not
having children. Look at the list above. Who is the selfish one? I understand
why it appears to be selfish to not have children. Here are some reasons
why most people don't want kids. To a non-thinker, these reasons are good
enough to label someone selfish.

- You enjoy your freedom
- You want to spend every dollar you make on yourself instead
of some kids
- You are in love with your perfect body and do not want ruin
it
- Your career has priority over breeding
- You don't want the responsibilities
- You have always wanted to have kids but couldn't find a mate
and not you are too old to be breeding
- You don't think you make enough money to support kids (I hear
sheeps say this very often "if you wait until you can afford
to have kids, you will never have kids". This is a stupid
statement and I wish sheeps would stop repeating it. If they
make 20-30K a year, they REALLY can't afford to have kids. Realisticly
speaking, most people can barely support themself. You know
damn well what I'm talking about. They are a gazillion broke
ass people who are popping out kids they can't afford.
- You hate or can't stand kids
- You think the world is over populated
- You think today's world is not a great place for a child to
grow up in
- You have some sort of health problems which prevents you from
having kids
- You want kids but your partner does not or vs
- You think by bringing a child into this world, there is an
excellent chance that they will be subject to a lot of unpleasant
experiences. You think even if life is perfect or a gift, it
still doesn't matter if they were never born to know about it.

By you not having kids, their kids will have more natural resources to
use. It doesn't stop at your kid's generation. Your child will most likely
want kids and the number keeps piling up. It's like a snowball affect.
That is why our planet is so over populated. I know some of you will say
"if we all stop reproducing, there will be no more humans left".
And your point is? So what. Why is it such a big deal to carry on the
human race? Not like any other living thing will miss us. The universe
sure don't give a damn. All the planets will still fly around in circles
until they blow up. Things will be just the way they were before humans
came along. Is it that hard to figure out? Wait! Hold on. Before you think
I'm some psycho nut job that wants to end the world, hear me out .
That is not my intention at all. My goal is to get more people to exercise
their brain more often and not let it rust. The mess we are in today is
due to too many idle brains. That is my message to everyone. All my articles
are just thought provoking and nothing more. If we all use our brains
in a constructive way more often, we can change the world today. It will
never happen, just wishful thinking .
