| Luck, Choices, and Destiny (click
here for the video version) When people become successful, they almost always say "It's due to a lot of hard work and a little bit of Luck". I find it very fascinating that so many people down play luck. That luck have so little to do with their success. Even being able to "work hard" is also luck. If you were born mentally challenged or physically deformed, would you still be able to work hard? The way I see it, it's not a little or even a lot of luck, it's ALL luck. To not give luck all the credit is to say you had a hand in creating yourself. I surely didn't create me and everything else around me. If my life is a success or a failure, it is due to good luck or bad luck. Here is one thing I often hear, "it's not luck, it's skill". Really? Don't you have to be lucky to acquire skill? Only an ignorant person take credit for something they have absolutely no part of. What's even more insane are these old ass people who still haven't figured this out  .
Lets break down a typical successful person to give you an idea of what
I'm talking about.Motivation Not all human beings are created to be equally motivated. You can tease them with all the wonderful things that life has to offer, it still wouldn't matter. We are all born with different levels of motivation. Some are extremely driven, some needs a little kick start, and some just flat out have no desire to be successful. Being At The Right Place At The Right Time Lucky people are lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time and are lucky enough to be smart enough to take advantage of the opportunities offered to them. If you are unlucky, you won't even know a good opportuntity even if it is handed to you on a silver platter. Even Warrent Buffett missed a couple of great opportunities. When those opportunities came up, he said he was sucking his thumb. Same goes for lottery winners who have won millions but are not bright enough to not lose it all. Some are even worst off after winning the lottery. It is their destiny to be poor for the rest of their life. Winning the lottery is just a temporary break from being poor. Having A Speical Gift Even if you have a special gift, it might not be one that other human beings value. If you can sing, dance, and you are good looking, we reward you with millions. There are people out there with extraordinary human abilities. If you can withstand a massive amount of electrical current passing through your body without getting fried, you are rewarded with a few bucks. Here's five dollars. Go get yourself something nice and don't spend it all in one place. If you have ever watched this show called Superhumans, you will know what I'm talking about. No matter how much plastic surgery he gets or how many singing lessons you give him, he will never be smoking hot or a great singer. Some people are just not built that way. It is not their destiny in this life time. No matter how much time and effort you put into stretching, you can never become a contortionist if you are not naturally built that way. No matter how hard you try, you will never become a comedian because you just ain't funny. Some people have a good sense of humor and some don't. Some people have a good imagination and some don't. A lot of us are born with a special gift. One of your biggest challenges in life is to figure out what your gift is. If you tell yourself you don't have any special gift, you just might have already failed. But it is also in your destiny to think that way. Don't stop searching unless you are so old that you can't even wipe your own ass, then I'd say, the hell with it .
One major drawback to figuring out what you are good at is the lack of
opportunities to try different things. The more things you can try out,
the higher the odds are that you'll find your niche. Lets take the guy
I just mentioned as an example. He found out he can withstand massive
amounts of electrical current because after his mother died, he wanted
to commit suicide by electrocuting himself. That is one hell of a way
to figure out what your gift is but he figured it out by accident. Lucky
people are lucky enough to figure out what their gift is. Most people
are not that lucky. I'm still trying to figure out what my gift is or
if I even have any special gift. When I was a kid, I loved to play basketball.
I thought I was pretty damn good at it until I realized that I ain't black.
So much for that one .Good Looks If you are born good looking, you have already won a huge part of the battle right out of the gate. Stop being so arrogant because you did not create yourself. Even good looking people are not always lucky. If they are only good looking but not smart, their luck is limited but it sure beats being ugly and not smart if everything else is equal between the two people. If a good looking person is also lucky enough to have a smart brain, success is usually sure to follow. Natural Born Intelligence Dogs and cats in this country are very lucky. They are treated much better than most other animals. They are naturally smarter than most other animals. Can they give themselves credit for being born that way? Nature doesn't create all animals to be equally intelligent and it's the same for humans. Nature sure cranks out more retarded people than super intelligent people. If you are born smart, stop being so arrogant because you did not create yourself. Arrogance comes from being ignorant. My definition of natural born intelligence is how well your brain process information. You can inject the same exact information into a million kids, not all million kids will end up being equally smart. Not all brains are created equal. The best we can ask for is for all these kids to try their best. Take William Hung for instance. He got up on stage and gave it his best shot. Apparently that wasn't good enough for y'll. His lack of good luck tells you that no matter how hard he tries, he will never be Sammy Hagar or Michael Jackson. As long as he is living in this country and being born in this time in history, he will never be a rock star. Never, never ever ever ever .
Now if he were to be born thousands of years ago around goofy ass people
with terrible taste, maybe in their eyes he is a SUPER STAR. He could
possibly be great at doing something else but that also depends on how
lucky he is in finding out what it is. On a side note... I tell ya, if
Asian dudes have accumulated any cool points in the last 50 years, this
one dude just erased it all with a few minutes on stage .It appears to me that there are five major groups of humans. Group 1) The extremely intelligent people. Group 2) The above average people. Group 3) The average people. Group 4) The below average people. Group 5) The mentally challenged people. Group 4 people can irritate the hell out of you if you don't pay close attention. On the surface, they appear to be Group 3, the normal people. They definitely cannot be classified as Group 5. You can teach them all you want but they just can't get right. Things that make sense to Group 3 and above make no sense to these people. That my friend is why they are very irritating to deal with .
They will drive you up the frigging wall. All the books in the world can't
fix them. If you are naturally born to be a group 2, can you modify your
brain to be a group 4? You can do stupid things that group 4 people do
but you will always be a group 2. If someone is naturally born to be a
group 4, you can't modify them either. The best you can do is encourage
them to try their best. Our outter physcial body comes in many shapes
and sizes. So does our brains.Millions of people have graduated from universities like MIT, Yale, and Harvard. Why aren't they all Einstiens by now? Are they lazy? No. Are they stupid? No. Did Einstien read some special book or went to some special school that we don't know about? No. They can try all they want but extremely few will ever match Einstien because they are not naturally as gifted as Einstien. There are three kinds of smarts. Book smart, street smart, and life smart. A lot of highly intelligent book smart people are not street smart or life smart. They are only good at what they do for a living. Their personal lives are a complete mess. If you are born with a strong desire to succeed, don't stop trying because you don't know what you are capable of. This is how I live my life. I keep pushing and challenging myself because I have no idea what kind of brain nature has given me. If I keep running into a wall for the rest of my life, by the time I'm old enough to crap my pants, maybe then I can conclude that nature has shipped me a defective brain. Some say you can "change your luck" by changing your routine. They are essentially telling you that you can manipulate nature. When we can engineer a human being out of thin air, we have come closer to matching nature. If we have to use what already exist in nature to create a human being, we have not even come close. You can try and take a different road to work to see what kind of good luck it could bring you. There is a chance that you might run into a wealthy individual who is willing to bring you up. On the other hand, by taking a different road to work, a drunk driver might run into you and now your ass is dead .
No matter which road you take to work, if it's in your destiny to die
prematurely, there is nothing you can do to avoid it. No matter what you
do, you are still working within the confines of your own destiny. By
changing your routine, things will definitely be "different"
but that doesn't mean it will be better. It can also be worst. Fortune
telling is much the same. If you go to a fortune teller and this person
tells you that you will be rich in 2 years. What do you do then? Do you
work harder or do you sit on your ass? If they tell you that you will
live to 100. Do you eat right and excerise or do you eat anything you
want and be a coach potato? What have you really gained from seeing a
fortune teller? Do you think you have changed your destiny by going to
a fortune teller? These people who say you have the power to change your
destiny cracks me up. It is already in your destiny to think you can change
your destiny, therefore, you haven't gained any ground. If you were born
and lived in the jungle your whole life time, you can change your routine
all you want but you will never become a billionaire. Maybe a goat herder
but that's about it .
I'm not trying to discourage anybody from ever trying. It is the exact
opposite. I am encouraging people to think for themselves and to try their
very best. Your mind is a very powerful tool. Keep pushing it to see what
it is capable of. Most human beings are born quite smart. The lack of
good luck keeps our brains supressed. When you are old and ready to close
up shop, you can at least say you have gave it your best shot. You have
tried every way you can to promote your store but people just don't want
to buy shit from you .How Choices Are Made This is a very important topic because it is such a big part of our everyday life. I see how people treat, judge, and punish one and another base on the choices we make. It is happening every day. It is everywhere you turn. The crazies live amoung us all .By understanding how choices are made, it will eliminate a lot of hatred in this world. When I come across an evil individual, I just run the other way. It is pointless to hate them. I just get them out of my life. I too have made many bad choices and I always will. It is not MY choice. That is what prompted me to think about how choices are made. To do that, I use the "peel back the onion" technique. This technique is extremely useful in finding answers. This approach will help you get to the root of the cause. I combine that with asking the right questions. To solve a problem is to ask the right questions. I started out by asking why some people make good choices and why some people make bad choices? People who belong to Group 4 are going to make some very bad choices in life. The choices they make are only as good as they are lucky. Even the rich and powerful people who are running the world don't make choices either. Let me break it down for you piece by piece. To begin, lets list some undeniable facts. This list will determine how you make choices in life. This is just a partial list and are listed in no particular order. To give you a visual. Imagine a maze where the entrance is pointing up and the exit is pointing down and gravity is what's moving the object through the maze. The entrance is your birth and the exit is your death. Every wall you run into is one of the items on this list. You are essentially being steered through life. Here is the list of questions I asked?
We all have our own little personality. We all interpret the information we gathered differently. You are being shaped the minute you are born. The type of parents you have will play an important role in how you will be shaped. The neighborhoods you grew up in. The friends you have. The schools you went to. The siblings you have. The type of music you listen to. The books you read. The shows you watch. The country you live in. The time in history you were born into. Do you actually think you choose your friends or your significant other? So what exactually do you get to choose in life? This is not some religious believes. These are facts. Religions will have you believe just the opposite. The one question you have to ask is "Did I create myself and everything around me?". If the answer is no, then why are you giving me shit for things I have no control over? There are many, many other factors that will influence the person you become. The choices you make are the result of everything that shaped you. You feel me yet? Most people have been brainwashed with misinformation all their life. If you were told this from the very beginning, you wouldn't be doubting me. It's time you see it for what it really is. It will take some adjusting to live in reality .Once you realize how choices are made, you just might make better choices. That is not to say it has changed your destiny by making better choices. Education does create the illusion that you have changed your destiny. Much like a dog chasing its own tail. By going faster, it does appear to the dog that he has a better chance of catching it. You will no longer blame yourself for the bad choices you have made or blame others for their bad choices. The best thing you can do is learn from those mistakes (if you are lucky enough to learn from your mistakes). Like everyone else, I have also made many bad choices. At the time I made those choices, they made damn do sense to me .
Damn good sense I tell ya .
I thought I was doing the smart or the right thing. Who the hell actually
stick their hand in the fire knowing it will hurt like hell? Lets take
an obesed person for example. They might know that eating unhealthy foods
will kill them, they still can't stop because they don't have the will
power. They were pre-programmed with a brain that love food that much.
That is how their brain interpret happiness. Some turn to food when they
are depressed. That is how their brain deal with pain. We all have strengths
and weaknesses. Our strengths will steer us into making certain choices
and so do our weaknesses. Here is a prime example of strenght and weakness.
Obama, the president of the United States. He has the strength to become
president but too weak to even quit smoking. A lot of people don't even
know that he smokes. The last I heard, he was on some kind of nicotene
patch or gum. If Obama was a three foot midget, do you think he could
become president? And Einstein can't even hold down a marriage. As I sit
here and record this show, I have absolutely no idea how it will affect
my life. I'm hoping it will better the life of others in some ways. It
could very well come back and bite me in the ass at some point. I simply
don't frigging know. I do know what I don't know .
At this very moment, I'm thinking this is a great frigging idea .
Sharing my thoughts and hopefully help some people see the light. My intentions
are pure but I'm sure there are some people out there who hates my guts
. Leave me
the hell alone .
I'm doing my best with this damn brain I was born with .
I don't get on your case about the things you do. If I know everything
about you, I'm sure I can find something I don't agree with. The screwed
up thing is that we humans talk to each other as if we are in full control
of our own minds and how our minds interpret every little thing in life.
Oh you hear and see this every single day you interact with people. They
all look at each other as if they are their own creater. It is frigging
hilarious .
This is true reality TV folks. We humans act like a bunch of robots giving
each other high-fives. Here is how an ignorant person looks at life. You
have a brain and you are not mentally retarded, therefore, every bad thing
you do or say will be held DIRECTLY against you. We will also reward you
for all the good that you do. It is as if we created ourselves? I tell
you what. If I could really create myself, I would be a totally different
person or maybe I would prefer not to be born. Of all the shitty people
I have run into so far, I didn't purposely run into them. It is my destiny
to eventually run into these people. Same goes for the few good people
I have met. If the choices I make are really mine, wouldn't I avoided
meeting all those shitty people?Life itself is not that hard. It's having to deal with ignorant ass people day in and day out makes it ten times worst. The biggest challenge of getting to the top is having to fight through the crowd of ignorant people at the bottom. Of the thousands of years we humans have been around, we have made almost no real progress. If the human race have really progressed over the years, we wouldn't need to keep inventing new ways to protect our possessions. We have made a lot of technological advances but that's about it. With all the high tech toys we have today, you would think we will be insanely happy by now. In fact, the opposit is true. We are more depressed than ever. In regards to our diet, we have gone backwards. We are fatter than ever. We can't even fit through the damn doorway. If you want to see where the human race is heading, all you have to do is look at which TV shows or online videos are being watched the most. It is not hard to figure us out. If intelligent life forms from another planet really do exist, what can tell them about ourselves? We can sing and shake our booty? One ignorant generation creating and leading another ignorant generation. It's the case of the blind leading the blind. All the old ass mistakes are still being made today. The funny thing is, by the time we are old and have learned a whole lot, we can't even pass it to the next generation because the young are so damn arrogant. The young think they know it all. That is one reason the cycle keeps repeating itself and that is why we are where we are after countless generations. Teen pregnancy still exist. Little kids are still popping out kids. Shouldn't that have ended generations ago? We still think $9.99 is much cheaper than $10. We still buy shit we can't afford. If we can't get it right away, oh hell no! We will put that shit on layaway .
A certain culture still believe the number 4 is bad luck. Not for some
logical reason but just because it sounds almost like the word death in
their launguage. We still throw recyclables straight into the trash. We
still wear our nasty ass shoes into our homes. We still believe that first
impression is so damn important. If you have been around enough people,
you'll know that most people can't get it right the first time. We still
go through a roll of toilet paper every three days. I didn't know the
female genital has grown so damn huge over the years .
Man, I guess I just don't date enough. We still invest our hard earned
money into stocks but we have no clue on how to read a stock chart. If
you don't believe me, just bring up the stock chart of FedEx. Their ticker
symbol is fdx. Look at the period between November 2010 to November 2011.
It has failed to break above the $96 to $98 level 7 times. Same with the
Google chart (goog). It keeps failing at the $630 to $640 level. Who the
hell are these people that are buying in at these levels? Most people
still don't know they can short a stock. All they know is buy, buy, buy.
Like I always say, there's a sucker born everyday .
These are just a few examples of countless stupid things we still do today.
Until we open our eyes and start thinking again, it will not end well
for our species. We can go into space. So what? We can't even solve the
little problems we have here on earth. All the grown ass adults still
act like little kids. Just look at how governments around the world is
acting. Like a bunch of two year olds. We have also invented many things
to further impede progress. We should be building more schools, not prisons.
Some laws are so stupid. We give people a ticket for not wearing the seat
belt but we allow them to eat or drink whatever the hell they want. Aren't
these two the same damn things? Ya I know, you just want to bill me any
way you can so you can have more money to line your pockets.A retarded person does not know they are retarted. An ignorant person does not know they are ignorant. That is some scrary as shit .
This is one of the many reasons why I will never bring a child into this
world. To live among a bunch of morons and the crazies ?
Oh hell no!. An ignorant person will say, "the bad will make you
appreciate the good". Why couldn't you just program me to not have
to deal with the bad just to appreciate the good? Cut out the bad and
just program me to be happy. Quit playing with my emotions if you are
really that powerful as to say you are my creator. Doesn't that make more
sense? And, if I was never born, I wouldn't have to deal with any of this
shit . What
I don't know I will never miss.Just look at the U.S. and Europe. Both countries are in such a financial shit hole right now. Government is made up of humans and everyone one of those humans have their own little preprogrammed personality. One person see things one way but the other sees it totally different. The left is blaming the right, the right is blaming the left. You suck. No, you suck . Keep this
shit up and nothing will ever get solved. These are "suppose"
to be bright people. Many of the decisions they make are absolutely horrible.
Even if we have a truly bright person running for office, they will never
get elected because most voters are ignorant. Greed and ignorance will
be the death of us all. The planet earth will say, NEXT --->.If you are lucky enough to have a lot going for you and make lots of good choices, I have a question for you. Will you do something utterly stupid as to have a bunch of kids you can't afford at say the age of 18 or 20? My guess is you wouldn't. Now. Can you make fun of or talk down to people that are in that situation? You have to understand something very simple about life forms on this planet. All life forms have one simple goal, which is to survive. Our next goal as humans is to be happy. Unlucky people also make decisions but no human being really chooses to make stupid decisions that will put themself in harms way because our main goal as a living being is to survive and be happy. All living beings want to make the right decisions because we want to survive. We do not like pain. That is why there is a pill every damn thing. We love to feel good. All good decisions are due to plenty of good luck. Like I said, your choices are only as good as you are lucky. A lot of people are only lucky enough to have great ideas but not lucky enough to find the right investors. Choices are also made based on your level of conscience. A person's level of conscience will determine the type of choices they make. From what I understand so far, conscience cannot be taught. Take me for example. I was most certainly not taught to not have children. So where did I get that idea? It is internal. I was born with this level of conscience. My conscience stops me from creating a life just to fullfill my own selfish needs and wants. I'm not saying my level of conscience makes me better than someone that has kids. This is not an insult to people with kids, this is just an educational piece. I am very unlucky in some sense because roughly 90-95% of females wants to have kids. You don't have to believe me, just ask any female you come across. If you are an optimist, you'll say, don't worry, someday you'll find someone. Then I'll say, anything is possible but my odds are damn low. Now I ask you, are the choices I make in life really mine? Are the choices you make in your life really yours? Come on people, wake the hell up. It blows my mind to realize that there are so many sheeps in this world. When I was young and stupid, I used to think that there are many unique independent thinkers is the world. Damn was I wrong. Sheeps are everywhere. I never knew the human mind can be so easily brainwashed. The next time you come across somebody that you think have made a bad choice, how would you react? Do you make fun of them or do you feel bad for them? If they are not lucky enough to have the same opportunties that you have, would you look down on them? If they have crack head parents, can you blame them or make fun of them for getting into drugs? We do a lot of finger pointing DIRECTLY at each other, like we all created ourselves. Let me break it down further for those of you who have been deeply brainwashed. Lets say you have built a bunch of computers. You give each computer a little something different. Some have faster memory, some have bigger monitors, some have super fast hard drives, some have super slow hard drives, some have very nice sound systems and some with shitty sound systems, some with nice cases and some with ugly cases, and so on and so forth. Now, the computers with the best components will satisfy its owners much more than their counterparts. Let me ask you. Can these super computers give themselves credit for being such awesome computers? They did not create themselves. They didn't get to choose any of the components that went into them. How ridiculous would it look if these computers were to congratulate each other? Each component in the computer represent everything that makes you, you. A nice crisp monitor could be your face. A nice case could be your body. A fast hard drive could be your brain. A sticky keyboard could mean that you are not good with your hands. A crappy sound system could mean that you have a speech disorder. A lousy power supply could mean you have crappy parents. A crappy motherboard could mean you grew up in the ghetto. Every little component will play an important role in the final product. Your destiny is set in stone the second you are born. You are destined to have good or shitty parents, good or shitty friends, to find a loving soul mate or grow old alone. Only ignorant people think they can alter their destiny. Lets take something as simply as music. On one hand, you have a person that grew up in a poor neighborhood listening to Beethoven. On the other, you have a person that grew up in the same poor neighborhood listening to gangster rap. Which of these two people will more likely turn out to be a gangbanger? In many ways, you are what you listen to. Are you with me so far? Don't fall asleep !
Don't think for a minute that gives you the perfect excuse to commit crimes
or harm others. The justice system does not think like me and the po-po
will come and lock your ass up .No matter what you take from this video, you still need to do your very best because you still need to pay your bills and live out the rest of your life. I advise you to try your best because you have no idea what you are capable of. Your best is what you or anyone can ever ask for. If you have learned something from this show, consider yourself lucky. If you hate this show, consider yourself unlucky that I have wasted your time .The truth won't always set you free. It could also land your ass in jail . An independent
thinker has a better chance of being free. Now think about how you have
been living your life. Think of all the choices and comments you have
made so far in life. Think about how you have come to think the way you
do. How much of it came from you and how much of it came from an outside
influence (ie, your parents, your friends, the media, your teachers, your
siblings, your gay uncle, etc). Are you truly an independent free thinker
or are you just regurgitating what you have heard? Are you just a sheep
in a sea of billions? The next time you hear something from a typical
sheep, think about it before you take it on or regurgitate it.We humans are smart. Sadly, we are just smart enough to endanger our own species. We destroy things that are essential to our own survival. In reality, we are a bunch of frigging morons .
The smartest thing we can do is to admit we don't know a whole lot, start
learning, and question everything. Making up stories just impedes our
